Chaf Rural District (Persian: دهستان چاف)[3] is in the Central District of Langarud County, Gilan province, Iran.[4] It is administered from the city of Chaf and Chamkhaleh.[5][a]

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 9,834 in 2,917 households.[7] There were 6,961 inhabitants in 2,389 households at the following census of 2011.[8] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 2,395 in 904 households. The most populous of its six villages was Sadat Mahalleh, with 821 people.[2]
